Terms of service

Welcome to PeakKit. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of peakkit.be and any purchase you make through it (the "Services"). By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

## 1. The Store

PeakKit sells outdoor and camping gear to consumers in Belgium. We may update, change, or discontinue products or parts of the Services at any time without notice.

## 2. Orders

When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase. We confirm acceptance by sending an order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order (for example, in case of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues); if payment was taken for a cancelled order, it will be fully refunded.

## 3. Prices and Payment

All prices are shown in **euros (€)** and include VAT where applicable. We take reasonable care to display accurate prices, but obvious pricing errors are not binding — if we discover an error affecting your order, we will contact you to confirm or cancel it. Payment is processed securely by Shopify Payments and its payment providers; we never see or store your full card details.

## 5. Returns, Withdrawal, and Refunds

Your right of withdrawal and our return process are described in our [Refund & Return Policy](/policies/refund-policy), which forms part of these Terms. Your statutory rights under Belgian and EU consumer law — including the 14-day right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee of conformity — are never limited by these Terms.

## 6. Product Information

We work to describe and photograph products accurately. Minor variations (for example in color rendering) may occur. Product weights and measurements are approximate. Products are intended for normal consumer use; always use outdoor equipment responsibly.

## 7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services — text, images, branding, and design — belongs to PeakKit or its licensors and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without permission.

## 8. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for intent, gross negligence, or death/personal injury). Subject to that, our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

## 9. Privacy

## 10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by **Belgian law**. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of Belgium, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that let you bring or defend claims in your own jurisdiction. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's [Online Dispute Resolution platform](https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).

## 11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
